VENDORS

We are accepting Food Booth & Arts/Crafts vendor applications.

Please complete the appropriate vendor application:

Applications and fee must be submitted no later than Friday, August 2, 2024.

All applications will be reviewed by the Pow Wow committee. If approved you will be contacted for payment. Please note we do not accept Multi-Level Marketing/Direct Sales vendors (e.g. dōTERRA, Avon, Paparazzi, etc.). The Guilford Native American Association Pow Wow Committee reserves the right to deny any vendor registration.


Food, Arts & Crafts Vendors please note proof of Native American Heritage is required for approval of your application.
A copy of your State or Federal Tribal Enrollment Card or Birth Certificate must accompany your application(Cards from Native American Associations, groups, or clubs are not acceptable as proof of Native American Heritage).


--To preserve our Native American heritage the American Indian Arts & Crafts Act must be observed;
therefore, NO rubber tomahawks, bow & arrows, roach clips, whips, headdresses or any other items not made
by Native Americans are allowed; also, no items that would be considered Country Crafts.

Fees: Vendor fees are non-refundable.
Arts & craft vendors: $300.00 per booth
Food vendors $325.00 per booth.

You will be sent an invoice via e-mail for payment. Payment can be made to GNAA,INC.

Payment type accepted: Cash, money order, or card.
No personal checks at the gate. No exceptions. Set up will not be allowed if fees have not been paid by set up day.

FOOD VENDORS:

Food Vendors must complete a Special Event Temporary Food Establishments (TFEs) Form and pay a $75 fee to the Guilford County Health Department by August 3rd, 2024. All foods sold to the public must be USDA Approved.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Whether you’re a GNAA Pow Wow veteran or new to our Annual Pow Wow PLEASE READ all information carefully! We will also send additional detailed information the week before the Pow Wow, so please keep an eye out for that email.

Friday through Sunday, September 20th-22nd,2024


Location:

Greensboro Country Park located at 3802 Jaycee Park Drive, Greensboro, North Carolina 27455
(enter from Pisgah Church Road). 


Gates Open:

Friday at 5:00 pm, Saturday at 10:00 am, and Sunday at 11:00 am. 


Pow Wow Vendor Set Up:

Thursday, September 19th at 2:30 PM.

Friday, September 20th 2:30-4:00 PM.

If you will be arriving later than  5:00 PM on Friday please call Brandon Locklear (910-373-5083).


Friday, September 20th will be from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm. 
*Set up will not be allowed during Pow Wow times. 

Space Assignments:

Booth spaces will be pre-assigned based upon several factors, including items being sold. We try our best to spread out vendors selling similar items. Vendors are not allowed to switch spaces on the day of the Pow Wow.

The Guilford County Health Department and Fire Department require that all food vendors and traders be in compliance with the following State regulations:

• Each booth must contain a Fire Extinguisher (2ABC).
If you do not have one, GNAA will provide one for you at no cost.

Please let us know in advance if you need one.
• There can be no open flames under tents (including grills).
• No gas cooking unless flame is completely covered on sides and top.
• Propane gas grills are allowed if propane tanks are outside of the tent.
• Electric cooking element must be UL approved.
• Tables and chairs are not provided, so please bring your own.
• No Camping allowed at Pow Wow Site.
• Electric hookups are limited. PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR OWN GENERATOR if needed.
• Each vendor/trader is required to leave his or her space clean and free of all trash and debris. There are trashcans.
on site for your convenience.
• All vendors/traders are requested to stay for the entire event.
